Brenda Allison, MBA
CEO & Broker
Brenda Allison founded Allison Commercial Insurance Agency, Inc. after successfully launching another agency that is still running in Ventura County. She started both agencies from “scratch". Quickly she focused her expertise to become a Business Insurance Specialist helping business owners manage their everyday risks and overcome the unexpected. In 2007, Allison Commercial Insurance Agency, Inc. acquired longtime friends and collaborators, Coast General Insurance Brokers and has grown year over year.
Fun Fact: Won a fishing contest at 8 years – which could be why now she loves to deep sea fish.
Ms. Allison earned a Bachelors’ of Science in Urban and Public Affairs and her Master’s in Business Administration in Marketing. She earned her Health Insurance Professional (HIP) designation in 2010 and her Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist (AFIS) designation in 2011.

Ms. Allison lives in Ventura with her children- Caroline, Charlotte and Charles and her husband, Rotarian and Past President, Thomas J. “Hutch” Hutchinson. As a family, they enjoy travel, music, volunteering, family game nights and reading.
Director of Operations | Senior Account Manager
As the Director of Operations Angelina oversees and manages the agencies day to day operations, ensuring our daily outcomes are aligned with the Company’s mission and goals.
Angelina joined Coast General Insurance Brokers in 2003 and has specialized in Commercial Insurance ever since. She enjoys coming to the office every day and helping our clients manage their insurance needs. The most rewarding part of Angelina’s job is getting to the finish line of her hardest projects. The gratitude from her clients makes it all worth it.
Fun Fact: Coast General Insurance Brokers was Angelina's first job while still in High School. She loved her job so much she made it her career.
Family: Angelina, a life long Ventura County resident lives in Oxnard with her husband and three daughters. As a family they spend most of their time on the softball field and basketball courts.
Director of Customer Retention | Senior Account Manager
Gina is responsible for working with her direct team ensuring our existing long time clients are adequately insured. She is detail oriented and takes pride in making sure the client’s requirements are met accurately and in a timely manner.
In her 10 years with the agency, her favorite part of the job is building and maintaining relationships with clients.
Health Benefits Consultant
Chuck Kiskaden, President of Health Benefit Advisors, Inc and ACA expert consultant to our clients. As an Affordable Care Act expert and Corporate Benefits Broker specializing in ACA Compliant Medical Plans for California and Multi-state employers of all sizes, Chuck will review and analyze current employee benefits and then present options to make them better.
He is always working to meet or exceed customers’ needs.
She began her role with Coast General Insurance Brokers in the New Business Sales Department and has since been merged into our Customer Retention- Renewal team.
Lia says what she enjoys most about her job is “working with multiple lines of insurance and the continual education and growth within the agency. I enjoy the ability to work independently and as a team. I respect the trust we are given from our clients and the people I work with. I really like that our team members truly care about our clients and always want to do a good job for them.”
Health Benefits Consultant | Benefits Software Analyst
Adonis joined the agency in mid-2017 as a Benefits Software Analyst – he brought our clients and team up to full speed with online benefits integration and enrollment. Adonis coming from a Mechanical Engineering back ground, he is very detail oriented with numbers and enjoys helping our clients and their employees navigate their Medical benefits. Since joining our team Adonis has moved up as a Health & Life agent; providing enrollment in multiple languages. The appreciation from clients and employees is what he says drives his passion to succeed every day.
Office & Marketing Assistant
Karlee joined Coast General Insurance Brokers in 2017 as the teams Front Desk support personnel and Brenda’s Administrative Assistant. Since joining the agency Karlee has shown her dedication to the company and our clients by consistently providing outstanding, well-organized customer service.
Karlee takes satisfaction in making the client feel they matter – by responding to their requests quickly and efficiently.
